BLS Refresher
The EMS BLS Refresher Course is designed to keep EMTs and basic providers current, confident, and ready for the demands of patient care. This 40-hour hybrid program combines 20-hours of live, instructor-led training with 20- hours of flexible online modules developed in partnership with Public Safety Group. Live sessions focus on core skills such as airway management, trauma care, medical emergencies, and patient assessment, using interactive case studies and scenario-based learning. The online modules complement this experience with engaging, self-paced content that reinforces key knowledge areas while allowing you to learn on your own schedule. Together, this program ensures you meet recertification requirements while refreshing the essential skills that save lives every day.
Live Classroom Experience
The live sessions are delivered virtually by experienced EMS educators who bring years of field experience directly to the classroom. Learners will participate in real-time case discussions, guided reviews of BLS protocols, and scenario-based training designed to refresh critical thinking and patient care skills. These sessions provide direct interaction with instructors, ensuring students can ask questions and apply concepts to real-world practice.
Flexible Online BLS Learning
To complement the live training, students will complete 20- hours of self-paced online modules through our partnership with Public Safety Group. These modules feature high-quality multimedia content, knowledge checks, and the latest evidence-based practice updates across airway, trauma, cardiology, pediatrics, and operations. Together, the 40-hour hybrid refresher ensures EMS providers not only meet certification standards but also return to the field sharper, more confident, and ready for the demands of patient care.
