Welcome to Virtual EMS Refresher. By registering for and participating in our Virtual EMS Refresher Course, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before enrolling.

Terms & Conditions

1. Course Enrollment

  • Enrollment is confirmed once registration and payment are completed.

  • Students must provide accurate personal and certification information during registration.

  • Access to online content is for registered students only and may not be shared.

2. Payments & Refunds

  • Payment is due at the time of registration.

  • Our Refund Policy outlines eligibility for course refunds and transfers. Please review it prior to registration.

  • Failure to attend live sessions or complete online modules does not qualify for a refund.

3. Course Access & Completion

  • Live instructor-led sessions are delivered via Zoom. Students are responsible for maintaining internet access and compatible technology.

  • Online self-paced modules are available for a set a designated period. After March 31, 2026 at 11:59 pm, access will expire and no continuing education hours will be awarded for any remaining modules not completed.

  • Students must complete all required live and online hour blocks to receive a certificate of completion.

4. Certificates & Accreditation

  • Certificates will be issued upon successful completion of all course block requirements.

  • Our programs are designed to meet National Registry of EMT (NREMT) and/or state EMS continuing education requirements. It is the student’s responsibility to confirm acceptance with their state licensing or accrediting agency.

  • All students registered through this website will receive continuing education hours from Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC), Dubuque, IA.  This is a partnership agreement with NICC and Emergency Training Center, LLC d/b/a Virtual EMS Refresher.

5. Code of Conduct

  • Students are expected to maintain professional behavior during live sessions. Disruptive or disrespectful conduct may result in removal from the course without refund.

  • Cheating, sharing exam answers, or misuse of course materials is strictly prohibited.

  • Electronic device cameras must be on at all times during the live instructional portion of this course.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All course content, including presentations, videos, and materials, is the property of Virtual EMS Refresher and its instructional staff.

  • Materials may not be copied, shared, or redistributed without prior written permission.

7. Technology & Liability

  • Students are responsible for having a functioning computer, internet connection, and software.

  • Virtual EMS Refresher is not liable for technical failures on the student’s end. Support may be provided for platform-related issues.

8. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our courses constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

Disclaimer
